I dropped in for the 12:15 PM open mat on Saturday. Vini, his students, and the front desk staff were all incredibly welcoming. I had some competitive rolls with his students and was soundly handled by Vini, the owner. He was also kind enough to work on a few things with me after the open mat, which I really appreciated. I’ve always been a little afraid of getting hurt in Jiu-Jitsu, so I hesitated for a long time before starting. But honestly, joining this academy has been the best decision I’ve made. The instructors are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also genuinely caring and supportive. They make sure I feel safe and comfortable, which has completely changed my experience.
